Juanita Sue (Jackson) Snyder May 22, 1938 - October 4, 2021Born in Hiawassee, Georgia to Joseph Jackson & Josephine McConnell Jackson. Survived by husband Mark Snyder, son Steve Serold (Elsie), and daughter Sue Stewart. Grandchildren Jessica Tessman (Travis), Eva Verhey, Matthew, Victoria, Arlon and Samantha Serold. Great grandchildren Kaleb Rider, Kyleigh and Kassady Tessman, and Remi Mauldin. Sisters Patti Whitten (Perry), and Gail Ford. Aunts Montine Fedorka, Rheta McConnell, Brother-in-law Mike Snyder. Juanita was predeceased by her parents and brothers Michael Williams and Phillip Jackson. Juanita retired after a successful career in the Special Education Department of S.A.I.S.D. She later owned and operated the Top Secret Bar. She was an avid gardener whose gardening skills shined as her many plants & flowers highlighted her home. She was known for her feisty personality, infectious smile and offering advice as she saw fit. She frequently doted on her grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed family get togethers. Juanita’s wish was to be cremated and to return to her beloved grandparents final resting place in Hiawassee, Georgia.
Graveside service: Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 2:00P in Burch Cemetery.
