Mary Colleen Duncan

"Dutchess" Mary Colleen (Hilton) Duncan, age 78, passed on Wednesday, November 11, 2020. She was born in Paulding County, Georgia on October 06, 1942 to the late Mr. Walter Lee Hilton and late Addie Ruth Elizabeth (Bonds) Hilton. Dutch was was a Christian lady, a mother, grandmother and friend to many. One of her favorite things to do was to just be with her friends and family. She also enjoyed church yard sales, singings and eating. When her boys were young she was a Cub Scout Den mom. Dutch loved deep and hard and was very proud of her children. 
She was preceded in death by her above mentioned parents, her adopted mother Ruth Elizabeth Hendricks-Harper; daughter Twana Lynn Duncan, sons James Robert Duncan, Tracy Clayton Duncan, Michael Anthony Duncan, Phillip Dwayne Duncan; brothers Walter Swanson and William Howard Bailey.
Dutchess is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Tammy (Duncan) and Jackie Agee; daughter, Wendy Caldwell Ewing; brothers, Ralph Jerrell Bailey, Jimmy Edwin Bailey, Herbert Colin "Coky" Bailey; sister Vola Mae Bailey; adopted family Zen and Joy Hendricks, Lemuel Martin and Shirley Hendricks, Lavanna Huffman Wilbourn; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; along with a host of extended family and friends. 
Family will receive friends on Saturday, November 28, 2020 from 12:00-2:00pm at Banister-Cooper Funeral Home.
Service: Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 2:00 with Rev. Tommy Thomas officiating.
Immediately following the service a  Celebrate of Life will be held at Bethel Baptist Church, 4250 Crooked Creek Rd, Young Harris, GA 30582.
