Barbara Jane Ficacci

Barbara Jane Ficacci, age 75, of Young Harris passed away on Saturday, July 20,2024 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Daughter of the late Aaron Gordan and the late Iona Gordan; she was born on January 25, 1949 in Daytona Beach, Florida. She was a licensed Optometrist for a number of years before retiring. Barbara was extremely artistic, she could turn anything into an art project, often painting on wood her husband would cut for her or embordering custom items for her fiends. She was a member of several artis clubs and even taught some art classes. 

Barbara is preceded in death by her above mentioned parents. She is survived by her husband of fifty three years, Frank Ficacci and brother Richard Gordan. She also leaves behind a number of extended relatives and many friends.
