Benton Wold Arnold, age 85 of Hiawassee, Georgia passed away Monday, December 11, 2023 at Clay County Care Center. Benton was born October 26, 1938 to the late Benjamin and Agnes (Wold) Arnold in Appleton, Minnesota. He was an avid hunter but also liked to fish and play cards. He was a gentle, kind and loving Husband, Dad, Grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Corey Paul Arnold. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Dianne Arnold; daughters, Cheryl (Shane) Mitchell, Samantha (Nate) Kennison; sons, Randy (Bibi) Arnold; brother, Craig (Carol) Arnold; sister, Ann Goddell; grandchildren, Paul Arnold, Kyle Arnold, Lauren Wallace, Cassie Crisp, Carissa Daniel, Cori Cothran, McKinley Kennison, Kaylee Kennison, Kaden Kennison; seven great-grandchildren; four nieces and one nephew.

A Celebration of Life will be at Standing Indian Park in the spring. Time to be announced at a later date.

Banister-Cooper is in charge of arrangements for Mr. Arnold.
