Bobby Dills

Bobby Dills, age 85, of Young Harris, Georgia passed away Monday, June 21, 2021 at his home after an extended illness. Bobby was born October 27, 1935 to the late Frank Sr. and Pauline (Brown) Dills in Murphy, North Carolina. Bobby was a simple man, splitting wood in his white t-shirts was one of his favorite hobbies.  He loved helping and serving others, he was a volunteer for many years at the House of Manna with his friends Sally and Joe Varao. 

He is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Pauline Dills; wife, Necy (Barlow) Dills; infant sister, Sally Belle Dills; infant brother, JB Dills; and sister, Louise Lance. He is survived in death by his son, Robert Lee Dills; daughters, Suzanne Kaye Dills, Tracy Lee Dills, Pauline Dills, and Tina Marie Dills; brothers, (Big brother) Jr. Dills, (Little brother) Bill Dills; sister, Frances Bradshaw; eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service: Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 11:00 am at Sweetwater Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Sweetwater Baptist Church Cemetery.
