Brenton Ray Osborn

Brenton "Brent" Ray Osborn, age 48, of Hayesville, North Carolina passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, September 23, 2018 surrounded by his loving family and dear friends. Mr. Osborn was born in Hiawassee, Georgia on May 10, 1970 to the late Mr. Ray and Audrey (Rogers) Osborn. Brent was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Hiawassee. He worked for fifteen years at Blue Ridge Mountain EMC and was a Rock Mason for over 20 years. Brent was a one of a kind man, a devoted husband and the type of father all children want to have. He was a hard worker and provider for his family. Brent loved riding horses and camping. Brent leaves behind a devoted wife of 28 years, Mrs. Elizabeth Ledford Osborn; a daughter and son-in-law Katie and Paydon Shook of Hayesville, NC; one son, Justin Osborn of Hayesville NC; one precious  granddaughter Audrey Shook; brothers Eddie Osborn and Bryan Osborn both of Hiawassee. A number of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends remain.

Pallbearers will be Tim Reynolds, Billy Garrett, Jason Dyer, Taylor Osborn, Jacob Ledford, Bryan Osborn, Eddie Osborn and Paydon Shook. Family will receive friends in the Chapel of Banister Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of

Banister Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 2:00 PM with Reverend Danny White officiating. Music will be provided by Billy Garrett Interment will follow in the Bethel Cemetery, Shooting Creek, N.C.
