Carl Kimsey

Mr. Carl Kimsey, age 90 of Hiawassee, GA passed away on October 22, 2013
following an extended illness. He was preceded in death by his son, Dennis
Kimsey and a sister, Bessie Arrowood. He was born to the late Marvin and Roxie
(Youngblood) Kimsey on June 03, 1923 in Hiawassee, GA. He is survived by his
wife, Nola Mae Kimsey, of Hiawassee, GA; daughter, Sherry Kimsey, of Hiawassee,
GA; brothers, Harold Kimsey, Homer Kimsey, of Hiawassee, GA; Steve Kimsey, of
Blairsville, GA; sister, Jessie Hyatt, of Young Harris, GA; a number of nieces
and nephews also survive. Funeral services were held on Friday, October 25, 2013
at 2:00PM from Union Hill Methodist Church with Rev. Katie Strals, Rev. Ken
Fuller and Rev. Chris Rumfelt officiating. Music was provided by Rev. Chris
Rumfelt and Rev. Ken Fuller. Pallbearers were Jimmy Kimsey, Reggie Kimsey,
Waylon Gibby, David Mullins, Curtis Shook, Larry Rumfelt, Vaughn King and Israel
Rogers. Graveside services were provided by Unicoi Masonic Lodge and North GA
Honor Guard. Interment was in Burch cemetery. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee
in charge of arrangements.
