Cecil L Rhinehardt

Mr. Cecil L. Rhinehardt, more commonly known as "Bud", age 88, of Young Harris, Georgia passed away on February 13, 2017. Cecil was born on January 02, 1929 to the late Oscar Levi and Bessie Corene (Sargent) Rhinehardt in Young Harris, GA. He was a member of Woods Grove Baptist Church and a member of the Stephens Lodge #414. He retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation and he was also one of the three founders of Hiawassee Cable Board, serving Towns County Georgia and Cherokee North Carolina. Cecil was preceded in death by his brother, O.L. Rhinehardt II and sisters, Ann Lee Rhinehardt Segrest, Clara Bell Rhinehardt Turpin, and Daphney Rhinehardt Thomas. He is survived by brother and sister-in-law, H.L. and Ruby Rhinehardt of Young Harris, GA; brother, J.L. Rhinehardt of Bristol, TN; sisters, Betty Dyer of Blairsville, GA, Virginia Bradley of East Point, GA and Lucille Jennings of Anchorage, AK; nieces and nephews, Mitchell  and Amanda Rhinehardt ; Michelle and Gary Pyrlik, Jimmy and Jerry Rhinehardt, Jean Noe, Pat Bush, Ginger Carver, Bobby and Steve Jennings,Gina Tiedeman, Ricky Dyer, Jim Dyer, Vicki Dyer Owenby, Betty Ann Cox, Rusty Thomas, Mary Sue Furtnee, Brenda Welch and Susie Brown also survive along with many loving relatives and friends. 

Visitation: Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Banister Funeral Home

Service: Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Banister Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Rogers and Rev. Scott Sims officiating. 

Interment: Old Union Cemetery, Young Harris, GA

Pallbearers Mitch Rhinehardt, Craig Rhinehardt, Ricky Dyer, Gary Pyrlik, Jimmy Dyer, Caden Pyrlik and Jake Pyrlik.
