Christine Harker

Christine Harker, loving wife of Mike Cotton for 25 years. Chris was born in Bayonne, NJ and currently resided in Hayesville, NC. She passed away surrounded by her husband, family and friends. Chris is also survived by her niece Marriah Dugger and her husband Shannon, and her two great nephews Markas Harker and Isaac Dugger.
Chris touched countess lives with her compassion, strength, her infectious smile, and her generous heart.
Chris was a member of the Oak Forest United Methodist Church. Her hobbies included camping, taking short road trips with Mike, gardening herbs and flowers, college and professional football, especially Buffalo Bills.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Oak Forest UMC Outreach Fund which will go to the care of Michael Cotton.
Funeral arrangements will be handled by Banister Funeral Home, Inc. in Hiawassee, GA. Services will be held at Oak Forest United Methodist Church in Hayesville, NC on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 10:30AM with Pastor Jacob Kyker, Asst. Pastor Guinnell Hunter, and Father George Kloster, Pastor of Immaculate heart of Mary and Saint William Catholic Churches. A meal will be provided after the services in the gathering place of the church. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
