Clyde "Buddy" Emerson Baxter Jr.

C.E. Buddy Baxter passed away on January 7, 2017 at his home. Buddy was born June 2, 1939 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Clyde and Lillian Lewis Baxter. He served 4 years in the United States Air Force and then retired from Georgia State Patrol after 30 years of dedicated service. Left to cherish his memory is his wife and best friend of 47 years, Ella Faye Souther Baxter; sons & daughters-in-law, Lewis and Alexa Baxter of Hiawassee, Georgia and Joe and Nicole Baxter of Gainesville, Georgia; brothers, Jimmy Baxter of Newnan, Georgia and Bradley Baxter of Atlanta, Georgia; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Banister Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
