Cora Jean Reynolds

Cora Jean Penland Reynolds, age 76, of Hiawasee passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024 after a brief illness. Cora was born to the late Robert D and the late Dorothy Conrad Penland on February 1, 1948 in Miami, Florida. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Thomas Penland. She is survived by children Cyndi and Todd Manning, Tom and Robin Souder, Lori Bristoe, Patty and Wayne Mullins; brother William am Penland and a number of grandchildren and extended family. 

Cora was a member of the Hiawassee Gun Club for many years, worked at the Young Harris Motel and the Towns County Herald during her time in Hiawassee. She was so friendly and would talk to anyone. She will be deeply missed. No services are planned at this time
