Dallas E Hazelwood

Mr. Dallas Earle Hazelwood, age 92 of Hiawassee, GA passed away on Thursday, July 03, 2008 following a period of declining health. He was born to the late William and Maudie Mae (Oxley) Hazelwood on December 12, 1915 in Spartanburg County, SC. He is survived by his daughter, Karen Hazelwood, of Young Harris, GA; three grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a number nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside services were held on Monday, July 07, 2008 at 11:00 AM from Elmhurst cemetery in Elberton, GA with Julia Buckner officiating. Pallbearers were: Randall Kirsch, Rich Spierto, Hiram Johnson and Howard Hazelwood. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be made to Hayesville High School Scholarship Fund, 205 Yellow Jacket Dr., Hayesville, NC 28904.
