Dawes George Shook

Mr. Dawes George Shook, age 81 of Hiawassee, GA passed away on Monday, June 03, 2013 following a period of declining health. He was born to the late Edwin and Clara (Galloway) Shook on January 15, 1932 in Hiawassee, GA. He worked for the State of Georgia as an Enviromentalist for a number of years. He is survived by one daughter, three brothers, one sister, two sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and many friends. Graveside services were held on Wednesday, June 05, 2013 at 1:00 PM from Lower Bell Creek Baptist cemetery with Rev. Harold Ledford officiating. Military rights were presented by Georgia National Honor Guard. Interment was in Lower Bell Creek Baptist Church cemetery. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
