Deborah Webb was born January 8, 1955, to Ann C and Jerry Scott. She was a force of nature with a twinkle in her eye, a smile on her face and always ready for the adventures life presented to her.
Over her lifetime, Deb made a variety of career choices and whether as a flight attendant for Eastern Airlines or her last choice as an esthetician specializing in permanent makeup, Deb was always learning and growing.
She possessed many artistic talents including incredible decorating skills. Never one to back from a challenge, some of her last projects were epoxy marbleizing her kitchen and bath counters, tiling backsplashes and stenciling a floor.
Her culinary skills were legendary, many times tweaking recipes to make them uniquely her own and often supplementing the ingredients from her small but ample backyard garden.
She was known for her exquisite needlepoint pieces and had recently swapped the needle for a hook to learn to crochet.
Being with family and friends was always important to Deb and 3 ½ years ago she traded the beaches of Florida and came to live closer to family in the mountains of Georgia. It was a place she’d wanted to be for a long time.
Tuesday evening, April 8, 2025, after a brave battle with cancer, Deb slipped away to her next adventure. She is survived by her long-time love Lawrence LaFranier; her sisters Tracy (Jim) Tittle, and Carol (Mike) Helmase; niece Jesse Tittle; aunt Mary Jean Dyrenforth; cousins Dede, Cathy, Louise; Steve, John and Sharon; fur babies Salem, Charlie, Lady, and the front porch cats; and a multitude of friends.
She is predeceased by her parents and brother, Cliff Scott.
A celebration of Deb’s life will be planned for a later date.
When you think of Deb remember the smile she had, the joy she shared and, as she was, continue to be kind to others.
