Eddie Joe Prince

Mr. Eddie Joe Prince, age 62, of Blairsville, Georgia passed away on March 12, 2022 following a brief illness. He was born on February 19, 1960 to the late Floyd Junior and Juanita Mozell (Passmore) Prince in Ducktown, Tennessee. Eddie Joe was the most giving individual you would ever meet, he fiercely loved his family along with his love for anything outdoors and hunting. His grandchildren adored him and his favorite name was Papaw. Eddie Joe was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Prince; sister, Nadine Couch and grandson, Robert James Montgomery. He is survived by his loving significant other of 26 years, Angela Brown; children Shannon Prince and wife Brittany; Stacey Goode and boyfriend Daniel; Curtis Brown; Jessica Montgomery and husband Robby; brother and sister-in-law, Kenny and Phyllis Prince; brother, Steve Prince; grandchildren, Alyssa, Erin, Zoe, Kamari, Wyatt, Jayden, Gracie, Ava and Araya; nieces, nephews and a host of extended family and friends. 

Visitation: Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Banister-Cooper Funeral Home from 6:00 to 9:00 PM

Visitation: Wednesday March 16, 2022 at First Free Will Baptist Church from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Funeral Service: Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at First Free Will Baptist Church at 1:00 PM with Rev. Chris Rumfelt and Rev. Ken Nicholson officiating. Music provided by the Rumfelt Family and Dr. Leslie Hughes. 

Interment: Mt. Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery 569 Isabella Ave, Copperhill, TN 37317

Pallbearers: Curtis Rzeplinski, Cody McJunkins, Seth Aldridge, Kenneth Wood, John Payne, Nick Prince
