Edward F Harper

Mr. Edward Floyd Harper, age 83 of Hiawassee, GA passed away in St. Joseph's Hospital following a period of declining health. He was born to the late Walter and Lillie (Williams) Harper on March 24, 1925 in Carroll County, GA. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Harper of Hiawassee, GA; step-daughter, Ann Tallent, of Bremen, GA; brothers, James Harper, of Tallapoosa, GA; Melvin Harper, of California; four step-grandchildren, one step-great grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services were held on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Banister Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Ledford officiating. Pallbearers were Lamar Foster, Bill Kendall, Travis Foster, A.J. Hamilton, Derek Cunningham. Music was provided by Lower Hightower Baptist Church choir.
