Edwina D Kersey

Mrs. Edwina Dennis Kersey, age 85 of Hiawassee, GA (formerly of Albany, GA) passed away on Saturday, May 09, 2009 following a brief illness. She was born to the late Miles Edward and Frankie (Knight) Dennis on February 17, 1924 in Columbia County, FL. She is survived by her daughters, Sarah Berrong, of Hiawassee, GA; Frances Roberts, of Old Town, FL; son, Dennis Lovell, of Warwick, GA; brother, Miles E. Dennis, of Colquitt, GA; six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside services will be held at Floral Memory Gardens cemetery in Albany, GA at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Regency Hospice, 236 S. Main St. Hiawassee, GA 30546. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in entrusted with arrangements.
