Ensley NULL Gibson, Jr.

Mr. Ensley Gibson Jr. age 82 of Young Harris, GA passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 following a period of declining health. He was born to the late Ensley, Sr. and Verse (Ledford) Gibson on August 14, 1927 in Young Harris, GA. He was preceded in death by a great grandchild, Hayden Barrett. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Gibson, of Young Harris, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene and Roger Barrett, of Greenville, SC; Diane and Daniel Berrong, of Hiawassee, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Butch and Vickie Gibson, of Blairsville, GA; eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services were held on Friday, February 26, 2010 at 2:00PM from the chapel of Banister Funeral Home, with Rev. Jimmy Rogers and Rev. Lester Sutton officiating. Music was provided by the Eagle Mtn. Quartet. Pallbearers were: Mark Barrett, Chad Barrett, Michael West, John Landress, Wayne Canterbury and Clinton Hall. Interment was in Old Union Baptist Church cemetery. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
