Frances A Giles

Frances Alene Giles, age 73 of Hiawassee, GA passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 following a brief illness. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Teresa Ann Morrison and Peggy Lynn Giles. She was born to the late Walter Roberts and Leora (Young) Roberts on May 22, 1937 in Murphy, NC. She is survived by a son, John Giles, Jr., of Hiawassee, GA; brothers, Earl Roberts, of Young Harris, GA; Ralph Roberts, of Oakwood, GA; George W. Roberts, of Arizona and Claude Roberts, of California; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 7PM from the chapel of Banister Funeral Home with Rev. Mitchell Totherow officiating. The family will meet with friends immediately following the service. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
