Frederick Herbert Mangold

Mr. Frederick “Bud” Herbert Mangold, age 81, of Hiawassee, Georgia passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Chatuge Regional Nursing Home. Bud was born in Maryland on June 25, 1936 to the late Herbert and Marie Helen (Hollingsworth) Mangold. He served our country during the Korean War and after he was Honorably Discharged, went home to work at  Birmingham Steel, a steel mill. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 9:00 AM with full Military Honors given by the North Georgia Honor Guard. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
