George F Cooper

Mr. George Frederick Cooper, age 71 of Hiawassee, GA passed away suddenly in an automobile accident. He was born to the late George and Frieda (Seefeldt) Cooper on December 23, 1939 in Braddock, PA. He retired from banking after thirty-five years of service and was a Realtor. He is survived by his wife, Betty Cooper of Hiawassee, GA; daughters, Cindy Shirley and Judith Viceli, both of Pittsburgh, PA; sons and step-sons, Mark Cooper, of Pittsburgh, PA, Terry Quinn, of St. Louis, MO, Geoffrey Quinn, of Seattle, WA; Michael Quinn, also of Seattle, WA; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and two nephews also survive. A Celebration of Life service for Mr. George Cooper will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 12:00N from Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Hayesville, NC. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Castaway Critters or Towns County Food Pantry. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
