Gerald B Garrett

Mr. Gerald Buford Garrett, age 73, of Hiawassee, GA passed away Monday, July 21, 2008 following a period of declining health. He was born to the late Carlton and Ella Mae (Ledford) Garrett. Surviving are two daughters: Sherry Hodnett of Hiawassee, GA, Dee Dee Roberts of Young Harris, GA; two brothers J.T. Garrett and J.D. Garrett both of Hiawassee, GA; one sister June Brookshire of Gainesville, GA two grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Wednesday July 23, 2008 at 2:00 PM from the Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harold Ledford officiating. The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Towns County EMS. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
