Gerald Albert Riecke

Mr. Gerald Albert Riecke, age 86, of Young Harris, Georgia passed away at his home on February 25, 2018. Gerald was born in Green Ridge, Missouri on February 15, 1932 to the late William and Ivy (Willis) Riecke. He was a member of Sharp United Methodist Church. Gerald was kind and loving. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, gardening and woodworking. He was preceded in death by one brother and five sisters. Gerald is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Sarah Roton Riecke of Young Harris, Georgia; son, Bill Riecke of Athens, Georgia; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Bill Fulton of Stuart, Florida; grandchildren, Marcus and Michael Fulton; a number of nieces, nephews and a host of friends also survive. No services are planned at this time. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
