Gloria Dawn Wade

Gloria Dawn Wade, age 68, of Hiawassee, Georgia passed away on November 2, 2020 following a brief illness. Dawn was born on April 1, 1952 in Alma, Georgia to Ivos (Brigmond) and the late Aubrey Wade. She was a member of Brunell Street Church of God. Dawn loved lighthouses and collected many of them through the years. According to her family, she was temperamental at times but she never missed a chance to joke around with them. She listened to gospel singing every chance she got. She was preceded in death by her father, Aubrey Wade and brother, Craig Wade. Dawn is survived by her mother, Ivos Wade or Naylor, GA; daughter and son-in-law Victoria and Rex Smith of Hiawassee, Georgia; son and daughter-in-law, Aubrey and Kayla Williams of Waycross, Georgia; brothers, Stan Wade of Naylor, Georgia and Rick Wade of Theodore, Alabama; and grandchildren, AJ, Luke and Robin Williams, all of Waycross, Georgia. A memorial service will be held on November 21, 2020 at 11:00 AM at First Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Rumfelt officiating. Banister-Cooper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
