Grant W Bryson

Mr. Grant "Wayne" Bryson, age 64 of Hiawassee, GA passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 following a period of declining health. He was born to the late Homer and Hazel (Dailey) Bryson on September 21, 1945 in Towns County, GA. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Young Harris and a member of the NRA. He was a avid fisherman and hunter. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Autumn Bryson. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Anita Bryson, of Hiawassee, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Dena Robin and Avery Beasley, of Hiawassee, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Stanley and Peggy Bryson of Blairsville, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Regina and Dennis Lee of Conroe, TX; one granddaughter, Teria Beasley and one grandson, Harley Beasley, both of Hiawassee, GA and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 24, 2009 from 5-7 PM from the chapel of Banister Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2009 at 11:00 AM from Old Union Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Rogers, Rev. Wayne Matheson and Dr. Ketron Moss officiating.
