Harold Richard Wood

Harold Richard Wood, 89, passed away December 24, 2021, at his home. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio and raised in Oak Park, Illinois. After graduating from Beloit College, Wisconsin, he moved to Sarasota, Florida, raised his children and finally retired from the boating industry and moved to the North Georgia Mountains. In addition to his parents, Wilfred and Rachel Wood, he is preceded in death by his son, Robert Wood and brother, Charles Wood. Survivors include his wife, Pamela Wood; daughter, Andrea Wood of Sarasota, Florida; stepdaughter, Lynda (Skip) Wood of Kissimmee, Florida and niece, Kathy (Rob) Fritz of Savannah, Georgia. No services are planned at this time. Banister-Cooper Funeral Home is honored to care for Mr. Wood.
