Jack Taylor

Jack Taylor, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. Jack was born to the late Alvin and Genevie (Nichols) Taylor in Hiawassee, Georgia on February 16,1945. He was a career carpenter at heart and used that talent as a contractor for Taylor Service Company for over 20 years. Jack was a smart and kind man who loved his family and friends. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed hunting, working in his garden and taking good old fashioned camping trips. He was a gentleman, always willing to lend a hand. When he did a favor for someone he always declined anything in return by saying "Don't spoil my blessing."

Jack is preceded in death by his parents Alvin and Genevie Taylor; brothers James Enoch Taylor and Noel Cleborn "Jelly" Taylor. He leaves behind his precious wife Amanda Taylor; daughters, Lisa Ross and Audrey Taylor; son, David Helms; brother and sister-in-law, William Alvin and Kathy Taylor; brother, Loy P. Taylor; sisters-in-law, James' widow Glenda Taylor and Noel's widow Shirley Taylor and best friend Jeff Chandler.
