James Conrad Bransford

James Conrad Bransford, age 83, of Hiawassee, Georgia passed away Tuesday, November1, 2022. James was born June 3, 1939 to the late Conn and Zelda (Martin) Bransford in Decatur, Georgia. He was a member of Sharp Memorial Methodist Church. James worked for the United States Postal Service for over 40 years. After retiring he did not slow down, he kept active by cycling with the Cherokee Cycle Club and was on the board of SETRA; an off-road motorcycle club where he was considered a cornerstone, Charter Member that held several positions for the club over the years. His family recalls him as someone who was always tinkering and fixing things. Memories made with James will always be remembered. 

 

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Dean Bransford. He is survived in death by his wife of 35 years, Patti Bransford; daughters, Cherie Bransford, Vicki Bransford; sister, Myra Smith; a number of nieces and nephews.
