James Cecil Price

James Cecil Price, age 87 of Hiawassee, Georgia passed away Monday, March 10, 2025 after an extended illness. Cecil was born September 12, 1937 to the late Jesse and Louise (Browning) Price in Haralson County. He spent almost twenty five years serving as a deputy for the city of Atlanta. During his children's younger years he taught both of them how to shoot a gun for different reasons. He also taught his children and his grandchildren how to play sports and loved spending time with them out on the boat. Him and his wife Carol spent 60 wonderful years together and was blessed with their children and grandchildren. He will be deeply missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Carol (Hill) Price; daughter, Kimberly (Roy) Perren; son, James (Dawn) Price Jr.; sister, Lillian Green; grandchildren, Jennifer (Jeff) Rector, Stephenie (Bradley) Barrett, Alexandra (Hayden) Burch, James Fagin, Preston Perren, Katherine Price; great-grandchildren, Avery Barrett, Aspen Barrett, Maddox Rector, Price Burch, and two on the way; niece, Linda Austin; nephew, Billy Austin.

A private family graveside will be held at a later date.
