J.D. NULL Garrett

Mr. J.D. Garrett age 63 of Hiawassee, GA passed away Monday December 22,2008. Mr. Garrett was born in Towns County, GA on November 02, 1945 to the late Carlton and Eula Mae (Ledford) Garrett. He was a Vietnam veteran with the United States Marine Corps, and a veteran of the United States Navy. Surviving are three sons: Justice Lee Garrett, Joshua Luke Garrett and James Logan Garrett all of Hiawassee, GA; one brother J.T. Garrett of Hiawassee, GA; one sister June Brookshire of Demorest ,GA five grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside services were held on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at 11:00AM from the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Ricky Burrell Officiating. Interment was in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Regency Hospice 236 South Main St. Hiawassee, GA.
