Jimmye S McNabb

Mrs. Jimmye S. McNabb, age 73 of Hiawassee, GA passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2008 following a period of declining health. She is the daughter of Robert "Leon" and Zelma Frances (Short) Swanson. She was born in Cherokee County, NC on December 14, 1934. She is survived by her mother, Zelma Swanson, of Murphy, NC; husband of fifty-three years, Tommy McNabb, of Hiawassee, GA; daughter, Sherry Wassmann, of Acworth, GA; sons, Robert "Eddie" McNabb and Randy McNabb, both of Flowery Branch, GA; sisters, Sara "Bobbie" Carter, of Greensboro, NC and Jean Barnard, of Simpsonville, SC; eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 01, 2008 at 2:00 PM from Woods Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Darryl Dale and Rev. Danny Burch officiating. Music was provided by Pat Jones. Pallbearers were: Bobby McNabb, Jess McNabb, Andrew Tillery, Paul Wassmann, Dwayne Helton and Jonathan Helton. Honorary pallbearers were: Jason McNabb and Tony Shook. Interment was in Woods Grove Baptist Church cemetery. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
