I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Your Mom was such a wonderful follower of Jesus and one of the most gracious human beings I have known. Praying for all of you.

I remember Joan as such a kind person with a beautiful smile who made time for everyone- even us kids. She always made everyone around her feel special. A tremendously kind, caring person and a GREAT example of God's love.

Our heartfelt condolences my dear Jeff, the meaning of your mother´s name is beautiful "God is merciful" she was a servant of the Lord, she walked with him, now she sings and worships her Lord in heaven. Hugs Jeff, with love in Jesus. Angel and Raquel Yguia

I always loved listening to Joan play the piano during worship services. She was led by the Holy Spirit, and was able to "flow" in whatever direction the Spirit took us.
She was such a sweet, humble, loving woman. I came to know her when I was a young adult, and she was closer to my parents age. She taught me that God was concerned with even what we might consider the smallest things in life; like rain that stops just before we reach our destination, or a "good" parking space right up close to the store (or other building we are entering). I always remember Joan and say thank-you to my Lord when those things happen. Because she taught me that they don't "just happen", but that they are simple ways God is letting me know He is watching out for me.

I met Joan and Bob at their home group meeting as a high schooler needing comfort a month after my boyfriend's father was lost at sea and never recovered. My boyfriend, closest girlfriend and I had never been to a Charismatic church and had no idea what was going on but we sure knew which side we wanted to be on!! We got baptized in the Holy Ghost that night and Bob and Joan were part of the pivotal leadership that shaped my life, family, and almost 50 year nursing career. I will never forget the platform of faithfulness, humility, service, and integrity they led with and that I have aspired to attain to! Love you guys and I know Joan is dancing in heaven❤️

Joan was one of our closest friends, although we were miles apart when we were together it seems like we had never been apart. We prayed together , laughed together, traveled together and now older together. We love you Joan, now you are celebrating with our Lord. Love Bob and Bobbie Willcox
