Joann Roseberry

JoAnn B. Roseberry, age 82, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2017. JoAnn was born May 18, 1935 in Onawa, Iowa, the daughter of Lawrence and Helen (Morehead) Brooks. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Stanley W. Roseberry. JoAnn was a homemaker and worked in sales and administration for Sears Roebuck until her retirement. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, bird watching, traveling, managing her financial portfolio, and spending time with her family. 

She is survived by her three sons, Jeff Roseberry of Nashville, Tennessee, Mike Roseberry and his wife Kathy and Rick Roseberry of Atlanta, Georgia. 

JoAnn leaves her sister, Sharon (Brooks) White, of Onawa, Iowa and nephews, Doug and wife Robin White of Ida Grove, Iowa; Dennis White of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; nieces, Dawn and husband Russell King of Onawa, Iowa and Dee and husband Bob Hawthorne of Blacksburg, Virgina. She is further survived by multiple grand nieces and nephews. 

Graveside service: Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Laurel Hills Memory Gardens in Young Harris, Georgia. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the ALS Association. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
