JoAnne D Huling

JoAnne Davis Huling, age 66, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 14, 2020 in the care of her loving daughter and son-in-law. She lived her last days in her beloved mountains in Hiawassee, Georgia.  JoAnne was born to Mrs. Nan (McDaniel) Huling and the late Mr. Ben Davis Huling on November 18, 1953 in Plant City, Florida. She grew up in Nahunta, Georgia, and is loved by everyone who knew her. She loved people, and was a loyal, devoted friend, mother and grandmother. Her smile and laugh lit up every place she went. She loved to laugh, and her laugh was musical and contagious. 
JoAnne was beautiful, smart, strong, brave, loving, and tender. She showered love on her family and friends. She was happiest outside, fishing, gardening, playing with her grandchildren, her pets, or just enjoying a campfire.
She excelled in her studies, and quickly worked her way up to the position of Lab Manager at Hercules, Inc. in Brunswick, Georgia. There, she treated her work family so well, many remained close friends after her retirement. She was a leader with a strong work ethic, and expected everyone to do their best. 
She loved her neighbors, and her home was welcoming to all. She took care of neighborhood children, and offered a hand to anyone in need. She was the perfect mix of strong and loving. JoAnne is preceded in death by her beloved father Ben Davis Huling. She leaves her mother, Nan Huling; daughter and son-in-law, Chelsea and Chris Foster; grandchildren, Sadie Mae and Charlie Andrew Foster; fur baby, Izzy; sister, Kathy Jacobs; along with extended family and many friends.
