John Francis Stallworth

Mr. John Francis Stallworth, age 84 of Hayesville, NC passed away on February 18, 2013 following a period of declining health. He was born to the late William and Gladys (Holland) Stallworth on July 02, 1928 in Atlanta, GA. He and his wife were married for sixty years. He was an Army Korean War Veteran, a Medal of Honor Recipient, VFW member, a member of Conyers Presbyterian Church in Conyers, GA He is survived by his wife, Beverley Stallworth, of Hiawassee, GA; son, Mark Stallworth, of Marietta, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Craig Earon, of Gainesville, GA; Pamela Stanfield, of Hiawassee, GA; sister, Betty Harhold, of Marietta, GA; and two grandchildren also survive. A graveside service will be held at a later date. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
