Johnnie Irene Foster

<P class=MsoNormalCxSpFirst>Mrs. Johnnie Irene Foster, age 77, of Young Harris, GA passed away Sunday, June 14, 2009 following a period of declining health. She was born to the late Homer L. and Amanda<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>(Garland) Garland on April 02, 1932 in Towns County, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer L. and Amanda Garland, her husband Ralph O. Foster (Sept. 1980) and brothers, Charles and Zeb Garland. She is survived by sister, Nancy Broshears, of Young Harris, GA; brother-in-law, Paul Shook, of Young Harris, GA; two nephews, Tim Shook and Jeffery Shook and niece, Tonya Shook.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>Funeral services were Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Banister Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Rogers, Rev. Tully Griggs,<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>Rev. Tommy Thomas and Rev. Lester Sutton. Music was provided by Tommy Flanagan and Tully Griggs. Pallbearers were: Raymond Byers, Bobby Dillinger, Lloyd Byers, Kevin Gunter, Kelly Gunter and Tommy Flanagan. Interment was in Old Union Baptist Church cemetery. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.</P>
