Johnny Wayne Waldroup

Mr. Johnny Wayne Waldroup, age 51 of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Fannin Regional Hospital. He was born to the late Boyce and Lilly (Frady) Waldroup on April 05, 1963 in Atlanta, GA. Johnny was a loving husband, father, uncle and friend. He is survived by his wife, Shelley Stanley Waldroup of Blue Ridge, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and Eric Foster of Blue Ridge, GA, step-daughter, Jenna Williams of Lawrenceville, GA; brother, Randall Waldroup of Blue Ridge, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce and Charles Pelot of Marietta, GA, Wanda and Mark Carter of Hayesville, NC, Theresa and Terry Pierson of Bryson, NC, Vivian and Terry Baker of Hayesville, NC, Hilda Taylor of Sylva, NC, Geraldine Swords of Hayesville, NC; special friends and family RJ and Elizabeth Waldroup, Clay and Erica Turner, Heather and John Turner and Sara and Grace Waldroup; a number of nieces, nephews also survive. Johnny was preceded in death by brothers, Boyd Waldroup, Ray Waldroup and Junior Waldroup and sister, Delores Taylor. Johnny liked to work in his yard, fish and spend time with his family. He was a steel building erector all his life, working for the Anderson’s for 30 years. Special thanks to the Anderson and Ellington families. Funeral services were held at Banister Funeral Home chapel on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at 2:00 PM.  The family received friends Sunday, February 15, 2015 from 12-2 P.M. at Banister Funeral Home.
