Heaven gained a spirited and hard working angel on Sunday, May 12, 2024 when Joyce Carol Shook arrived there. The youngest daughter of Halen & Ruby Bell Dills was born on a snowy January 8, 1954 in Highlands, NC, the same day as her big brother and Elvis. Carol & her family moved to Warne, NC in 1959 to where she went to school at Ogden before graduating from Hayesville High School in 1972.
