Juanita M McKinney

Mrs. Juanita McKinney, age 79 of Hiawassee, GA passed away on Friday, February 13, 2009 following a period of declining health. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Clyde McKinney in 2005, a sister, Geneva Johnson in 2001 and a son, Stephen C. McKinney in 2002. She was born to the late Otis and Dollie (Rogers) Martin on July 16, 1929 in Towns County, GA. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Ben Ferguson, of Roswell, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Stanley and Brenda McKinney, of Jacksonville, FL; one sister, Lou Ellen Hamilton, of Hiawassee, GA; five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2009 at 2:00 PM from Lower Hightower Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Burch officiating. Pallbearers were: L.G. Hamilton, Rex Johnson, Larry Johnson, Ken Hamilton, Austin Hall and Gerald Hall. Music was provided by Nola Jean Nichols and Spirit Bless. Interment was in Lower Hightower Baptist Church cemetery.
