Judy Carol Smith

Judy Carol Smith, age 68 of Young Harris, Georgia passed away Thursday, September 12, 2024. Judy was born to the late Troy and Mary Ruth (Sparks) Sampson on December 17, 1955 in Young Harris. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and VBS for a number of years. Over the years she enjoyed crafting and making flower arrangements. To know her was to love her. She was a funny, smart and lighthearted lady who loved her family dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Peggy Smith; and brother-in-law, Bobby Smith. She is survived by her loving husband, Larry Smith; daughter, Emily (Lanny) Brown; sons, T.C. Smith, Tracy (Olivia) Smith; sister, Amy Sampson; niece, Audrey; nephew, Gregory; and many extended family and friends.

Visitation: Friday, September 13, 2024 from 4:00-7:00pm at Cornerstone Baptist Church.

Funeral: Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 2:00pm at Cornerstone Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Shook and Todd Flanagan officiating.

Interment will follow at Cornerstone cemetery.
