Karen Ann Abercrombie

Karen Ann Abercrombie, age 53 of Hiawassee, Georgia passed away Monday August 22, 2022 at NorthEast Georgia Medical Center. Karen was born September 12, 1968 to the late Millard Taylor and Darlene (Hicks) Taylor in Atlanta, Georgia. She loved country music, shopping and occasionally liked to travel. She worked at Towns County Dispatch 911 center for over 20 years. She was a daddy's girl, she used to work in the garden with him and took care of him when he became sick.  

She is preceded in death by her father, Millard Taylor. She is survived in death by her husband, James Abercrombie; mother, Darlene Taylor; step-sons. Jason Abercrombie, Jamey Abercrombie, Justin Abercrombie; sister, Michelle Taylor; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nephew, Zach Taylor; great niece, Brooklyn Taylor; great nephew, Levi Taylor and many extended family and friends that will miss her dearly.
