Kathleen Esther Martin

Kathleen Esther Martin, age 70, of Hiawasse, Georgia passed away Monday, November 29, 2022 after battling an extended illness. Kathleen was born December 3, 1951 to the late C. Wayne and Martha Elaine King in Miami, Florida. She loved to work in her flowers and could work her magic with her green thumb on just about anything. She had a good sense of humor, even when she wasn't feeling well she still could find a good comeback for something. She also loved to travel with her husband while he worked on the road trucking.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Joey Maiani; sister, Darlene King. She is survived in death by her husband of 25 years, Steve Martin; sons, Tim Maiani, Danny Maiani; sister, Alleen Craig; nine grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held December 16, 2022 at 2:00 pm at 957 Cypress Point Lane. Hayesville, NC 28904.
