Larry E Owenby

Mr. Larry Ernest Owenby, age 62 of Hiawassee, GA passed away on Monday, May 03, 2010 following a period of declining health. He was born to the late Paul and Paralee (Beck) Owenby on April 09, 1948 in Clayton, GA. He is survived by his daughter, Jamie Anderson, of Hiawassee, GA; son, Josh Owenby, of Atlanta, GA; sisters, Frances Owens and Trisha Owenby, both of Hiawassee, GA; two grandchildren, Bree and Lee Anderson, both of Hiawassee, GA; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services were held on Thursday, May 06, 2010 at 12N from the chapel of Banister Funeral Home with Rev. Glen Eller officiating. Music was provided by Glen and Sheila Eller. Pallbearers were: Terry Wright, Kevin Barrett, Terry Taylor, Michael West, Steve Giles and Odell Garrison. Honorary pallbearers were Wayne Lovingood, Earl Roberts, Everett Arrowood. Interment was in Pine Grove cemetery. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
