Leslie Bryson

Mr. Leslie Lyle Bryson, age 88 of Young Harris, GA passed away on Monday, May 02, 2011 following a period of declining health. He was born to the late Hardy O. and Kitty Jane (Carson) Bryson on May 24, 1922 in Young Harris, GA. He was a lifetime member of Old Union Baptist Church and served in WWII. He is survived by his wife, Annie Bryson, of Young Harris, GA; daughter, Beatrice Thurmond, of Hiawassee, GA; sons, Larry Bryson, of St. Simons Island, GA; Mark Bryson, of Cornelia, GA; four grandchildren, Leslie Kelley, Dawn Wright, Miranda Lee and Ashley Moyer, seven great children and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services were held on Thursday, May 05, 2011 at 2:00PM from Old Union Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Hogsed officiating. Pallbearers were: Stanley Bryson, Casey Bryson, Jerry Dailey, Jared Wright, Andrew Moyer and Donald Keys. Interment was in Old Union Baptist Church cemetery.
