Linda Nell Shook

Mrs. Linda Nell (Thompson) Shook, age 71, of Duluth, Georgia passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2017. Linda was born on January 30, 1946 to the late Dewey and Montine (Goss) Thompson. She was a graduate of Norcross High School in 1964. On June 9, 1967 Linda married Norman Shook at Doraville Church of God. Their faith was the foundation of their marriage. Linda worked as a travel agent for 17 years. She loved to travel and traveled extensively with her husband, Norman. The couple lived at Cardinal Lake in Duluth for 40 years. She is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, Norman Shook, who now resides in Brasstown Manor in Hiawassee, Georgia. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, December 3. 2017 at 2:00 PM at Macedonia Baptist Church cemetery. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
