Lois M Dobbins

Lois Marie Dobbins, age 75 of Hiawassee, GA passed away on October 31, 2009 in Chatuge Regional Nursing Home. She was born to the late Joseph Tyrell and Lucy Edith Maebelle (Hammontree) Burgan on September 24, 1934 in Whitfield County, GA. She is survived by her daughter, Thresa Prather, of Hiawassee, GA; son, James Richard Dobbins, of Lilburn, GA; brothers, Charles R. Burgan of Tunnel Hill, GA; Julian Lee Burgan, of Cartersville, GA; sisters, Edith Marguerite Land, of Tellico Plains, TN; Opal Smith, of Dalton, GA; Zelma Ruth Kellam, of Atlanta, GA; Mary Jo Howard, of Rydell, GA; two grandchildren, one great grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Services for Mrs. Dobbins will be held at a later date. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
