Lois Looper

Mrs. Lois Looper, age 84, of Hiawassee, GA passed away on Monday, April 30, 2012 at her home. She was born to her parents Mr. & Mrs. Dave Odom on January 02, 1928 in Greer, SC. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Charles Looper. She is survived by daughter, Beverly Hayes, of Hiawassee, GA; son, Pete Looper, of Palmetto, GA; a granddaughter, Sara Ashley Benton, of Molena, GA and a great granddaughter, Catherine Faith Benton and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 01, 2012 from 6-9 PM from the chapel of Banister Funeral Home. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, May 02, 2012 at 2:00PM from McConnell Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Don Pickerill, Rev. Benny Tate, and Rev. Harold Ledford officiating. Music was provided by Wayne Hudley, Patsy Daniel and Lois Ann Rich. Pallbearers were ushers from McConnell Memorial Baptist Church. Hospital Auxillary served as honorary pallbearers. Interment was in Osborn cemetery. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
