Loraine N Arrowood

Loraine Nicholson Arrowood, age 71 of Hiawassee, GA passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 following a period of declining health. She was born to the late Uler and Pauline (Shook) Nicholson on July 22, 1937 in Towns County, GA. She is survived by her husband, James Ross Arrowood, of Hiawassee, GA; a daughter, Teresa Foster, of Hiawassee, GA; sons, Jimmy Arrowood, of Hiawassee, GA; James Grindle and Doyle Grindle, both of Gainesville, GA; thirteen grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services were held on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Banister Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Ledford officiating. Pallbearers were Jason Grindle, Corey Arrowood, Dakota Shook, Shane Grindle, Travis Foster and Josh Mylan. Music was provided by Sheila Eller. Interment was in Burch cemetery.
