Mary Louise Barnes Wimpey was born on May 28, 1928 in Union County, Georgia. She passed away on March 13, 2016 at Lilburn Pruitt Healthcare Nursing Home in Lilburn, Georgia.
Louise was employed by Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia as a chef before her retirement years . She was an avid gardner with a magnificent collection of iris and was a terrific cook. She loved her family dearly. Louise was saved and ready to meet the Lord at her death. She is now with Jesus and her heavenly family.
She is predeceased in death by: Roland Barnes Sr., Father and Rushie Plott Logan, Mother. Beloved husband, Johnny Wimpey and Beloved Grandson, John Franklin Wimpey Cagle. Also deceased, Roland Barnes, Jr., Brother and Lois Townsend, Sister. Surviving family members are: Michael Garrett, Son, Doraville, Georgia, Leon Wimpey, Son, Tucker, Georgia. Andrew Wimpey Cagle, Grandson, Atlanta, Georgia, Mark Garrett, Doraville, Georgia, Grandson, Todd Garrett, Grandson, Doraville, Georgia, Jessica Garrett, Doraville, Georgia, Great Grand daughter, and Brooklyn Saige Kahn, Great Great Granddaughter, Doraville, Georgia. Two surviving sisters: Betty Kilgore of Port St. Joe, Florida, and Jean Townsend, of Winder Georgia. She is also survied by a number of neices and nephews. Louise was loved in life by her family and friends and will be missed. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee, Georgia in charge of arrangements.
