Lyle J McConnell

Mr. Lyle James McConnell, age 79 of Young Harris, GA passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 following a period of declining health. He was born to the late Edward R. and Mary Blanche (Watts) McConnell on November 12, 1928 in Clay County, NC. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jimmie McConnell in 2004. He is survived by relatives and friends. Graveside services were held on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at 4:00 PM from Old Union Baptist Church, with Rev. Dewey Cox officiating. Interment was in Old Union Baptist Church cemetery. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
